Robbie brings nearly 27 years of dedicated municipal service, retiring in 2024 after a distinguished career in public safety leadership and investigations. His experience includes more than a decade of detective and investigative work, handling complex criminal, administrative, and internal investigations with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and accountability.
He served for over 12 years as a Police Chief for two separate municipal departments, providing executive leadership in operations, policy development, personnel management, labor relations, budgeting, and community engagement. His tenure as Chief emphasized professionalism, transparency, and building trust between public safety agencies and the communities they serve.
In addition to his municipal leadership roles, he served as President of the Western Massachusetts Police Chiefs Association, collaborating with regional leaders on policy issues, training initiatives, and best practices in law enforcement administration.
Throughout his career, he has maintained continuous involvement in community and business relations, working closely with municipal officials, community organizations, and private-sector partners to address public safety needs, organizational challenges, and strategic objectives.
